Good, with comments

I though this was very good and could be an independent type Ghibli type thing. But the trailer left be a bit disapointed, there were too many cuts (especially of guns firing). I noted reference to your *other* work which was good and you know I'm a total fan, but I hope that in your 45mins you are able to build up a story, a world in which we can imagine. I think you will be able too as you've got great skills.

I hope you had a great time making this, I look forward to being wowed with the full release :)

An awful movie

An awful movie from another pretentious group who try and do what much more established groups did to get 'famous'. Sadly, they don't realise this kind of trail is out of date.

No decent animation, a repeating song and the same theme as all previous works. Poor.

This was very good for a first attempt

I enjoyed this a lot. It was very good for a first attempt and I think you have a good style.

How much did you work on it? It's high quality, I think with more effort on the text and dialogue it would be even better.

With text, use a subtitle bar I think, rather than text on screen, it looks rough like that. Subtitle bars are professional.

Or get voice acting ;-)

Anyway, very well done!

I worked on it for about a week, on and off of course since I have other things to do. Well with the text I was aiming for a more comic book look which is why I didn't do a subtitle bar. Yeah, I might have to get voice acting eventually lol..and my mic is too garbage to do it myself sadly.

Loved it, because it's so true.

I was actually recently having a discussion with some guy who is an RPG nut... He's on about Zelda and all kinds of games I have no idea about. I try and talk to him about Axis and Allies, or the old Command and Conquer games and he gets all emo and says that I am betraying my gender...

So thank you for clearing it up with this well animated, nice designed flash with a good SFX track. This will be my proof going forward that yes, RTS and girls like me win over RPG fanboys anytime ;-)

Being a bit more serious, it was great for the most part, a bit short... Maybe with voice actors next time ok?

That was quite funny, it went round and the loop was a little rough, but I liked it a lot and played it twice.

It was well put together in parts and some was very funny. I thought though it was kinda like you attempted to step up too much instead of concentrating on the details.

Let me see here...

Okay, I was linked to this and forced to review it even though I've had so little sleep for a while... Anyway...

It was 'random' and in places it was 'funny', the flash was also for large parts well animated, but I can't help feeling Sir-S-Of-ROFL got his hands on the tablet at some points and messed it up.

I guess 'random' is good, but to make random a classic there is usually a constant theme. Now me for example, I like some of the Phoenix Wrong series because the 'skits' and set against the same characters even if what they do/say is different. Parodies and or comedy works best I think if it's not so random as to be dis-interesting.

So, overall... It's mostly well animated, the voices generally work, although I like Mr.English more... :P Overall, work on some kind of coherent 'random' script if that makes sense!

A series that hardly ever changed or made sense

Newgrounds is about flash for the most part and is home to series that are really amazing. This series however as the author and most people who watch it know has very little in the way of animation or flash related content.

Therefore it has to be judged on humour. This is a personal thing and for my part I found the humour awful and poor in taste.

The last episode attempted some more than the ones previous to it and I suppose this is to be praised, but it's still nothing more than a person's quest to get Newgrounds stats and perhaps to give a rude finger gesture to the established artists who work hard to submit good quality flashes and series.

Somewhere to take this would be like the 'Objection' series of flash, (see my favourite flash), little animation, but very funny IMHO. Animation isn't always 100% needed, but in this series case there was nothing to redeem it. That is why I voted 0.

That Phoenix Wrong series has to be one of the worst series ever made IMHO.
