Wow. This is probably the first time I've ever felt like slouching around and keeping my gaze away from a PICTURE of a person, for sheer guilt.

I'm not going to bore you with a long, drawn-out discussion...even in the event that you actually DO manage to read this, since I know that you actually don't hang out in the BBS much lately.

"Lately". Mpf. You probably told me that over a third of a year ago, actually. Which was when I wrote down my last chapter.

All I've got to say is that out of all the people who've read my story, you're the one that I feel I've failed the most.

I'm sorry, Sarai. I promised you something, and I've failed to deliver.

All that I can tell you is that this story isn't over. It's simply been on one of the longest delays I've ever had.

A combination of university-related panic, crumbling personal relationships, and writer's block pretty much KILLED my urge to get back to the story, this Summer. I tried several times just to write a few lines, but each and every single time, it just seemed like I was cutting corners, like I was skipping parts of the story just to get to the images I have in my mind, to the major stepping-stones that I've formulated in my imagination.

I hate it. I hate myself for only being able to write down stupid quips and low-level comments in the General forum.

But above all, I hate letting YOU down.

All I can say is...well, I hope you can take a look-see around the forum once every blue moon.

Because this story is HAPPENING. You might not believe it at this point, and you might be tired of waiting so damned long. But it IS.

(Good thing I said I'd be brief, eh? :D Oh well.)

That's all I can tell you, right now.

I hope you're doing ok, that you've had an enjoyable Summer and that things are going well for you.
